Abstract

Usaha Kecil Menengah are one of the drivers of the Indonesian economy. Among the types of UKM in the culinary field are snacks, beverages and staple foods. All categories in the culinary business have very good potential, depending on how they are marketed. One of the most successful snack culinary businesses is the corn cracker business.               One of the UKM engaged in the manufacture of corn crackers is the Anak Jaya UKM which is located in Margomulyo Village, Pegandon District, Kendal Regency, Central Java. UKM Anak Jaya was founded in 2018 with a maximum production capacity of 3 Kg of raw crackers. The low production capacity is due to the process which is still done manually. One of the production processes that takes a lot of time is the dough rolling process. Where the dough weighing 3 Kg requires rolling time of about 2 hours. Due to the low production capacity, UKM Enak Jaya often refuses consumer orders. From these problems, the PKM Team made a corn cracker dough rolling machine, with the aim of increasing production capacity.            From the experimental results, it is known that the rolling process of 3 kg of dough only takes 30 minutes of rolling. Short rolling time will increase the production capacity of corn crackers. In addition to the short rolling time, another advantage of the rolling pin machine is that it is easy to use and does not require a lot of power.
